Frequently asked questions
Is this the real exam?
No. You take the real integration exam with DUO. Here you practise with new questions in the same form and with the same time as the exam. After a practice exam you see whether you have about enough right to pass.
Who is A2 Examens for?
For anyone taking the integration exam at A2 who wants to practise its five parts: Reading, Listening, Writing, Speaking and KNM.
What is different here from the exam?
Very little: the same kinds of question, the same time, and you may listen just as often. A few things differ. On the exam you write the Writing part with a pen on paper; here you type. On the exam the Listening and KNM questions are also read out; here you read them. In part 1 of Speaking the exam shows a video; here you hear only its sound. And in a practice set you may check a question straight away.
What does it cost?
Nothing at the moment: the website is still being tested and is temporarily 100% free. When you create an account, you get a free pass for 60 days straight away. With it you can practise everything, the practice exams included.
What do I see here after a practice set?
Your score, what went well, what to practise next, and for every question the right answer and where it is. For Writing and Speaking you see your points on each aspect, your mistakes corrected, and tips. In every text, question and task the important words, phrases and grammar are underlined: click the number after them for the explanation.
